Village Saturday — Independence Day, 4 July

The Judgment of Paris didn't happen on the 4th of July. But it might as well have. In May 1976, a blind tasting in Paris changed everything — American Chardonnays, judged anonymously against the finest white Burgundies, came out on top. Nobody expected it. The results proved, for the first time on a world stage, that great wine could come from outside France — and the industry has never quite looked at itself the same way since.
This Independence Day, we're doing it again. Bring one bottle — American or French Chardonnay only. We'll taste blind, make our calls, and see what the glass decides.
Burgundy Salon — Whole Bunch vs Destemmed with Gerald Lu

We are pleased to welcome Gerald Lu, President of the Sommelier Association of Singapore, to South Bridge Réserve for an evening dedicated to one of Burgundy's most debated questions: whole bunch or destemmed?
Across six wines from three Burgundy appellations, Gerald will guide us through how this single winemaking decision shapes everything in the glass — from texture and structure to the character of the vintage itself. The full wine lineup will be shared soon.
Your Glass, Your Name — Members' Glassware Event

A small but personal detail makes a difference at the table. On 11 July, from 2pm to 5pm, we are hosting a glassware event at South Bridge Réserve.
For new Resident Members who do not yet have a personalised glass: select a piece of Květná glassware, engraved with your name and membership number. Your glass stays at the club, ready for you on every visit. This is complimentary — we have reached out to you via WhatsApp to confirm your preferred glassware.
Glassware is also available for purchase with engraving on the day.

The Collector's Table | Cult Wines & Dinner
16 July, Thurs | 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Some wines are simply hard to find. On 16 July, from 7pm to 10pm, we are bringing together nine of them at South Bridge Réserve.
The evening spans two of Burgundy's most compelling growers alongside a rare appearance from Kei Shiogai and a bottle from William Kelley — names that rarely make it to the table outside of private cellars.

Bring one bottle — your pick of the most overlooked, underloved, or quietly brilliant Burgundy you know. No rules beyond that. We'll open everything on the table, help yourself to the congee bar with all the accompaniments, and find out whose cellar has been paying attention.
